Dr. Koushik Saha

My broad area of research is Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics and Spectroscopy. I am an Experimental Physicist interested in studying the inner working of atoms and molecules; the building blocks of nature. My research work involves design and development of novel experimental facilities and techniques to address research problems that advances our understanding about various phenomena in atoms and molecules. I also conduct research in the field of remote sensing, an area of applied physics that has immense applications in agriculture, hydrology, geology, oceanography, forestry, coastal and marine surveillance, ice monitoring etc.

RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS

The Metamorphosis of Molecules: How Slowly Can They Change?
Colder and Colder

An experimental setup to study delayed electron emission upon photoexcitation of trapped polyatomic anions
